Phase II Construction Underway
Lots of exciting things have been going on at The Beta House at the University of Florida. Phase II involves the remodeling and additions of the rooms. Be sure to come back and check on the progress of the construction! Click on the photos for a closer view.

During this phase new men & women's bathrooms were built, the house was relandscaped and the living room remodeled.

(5/8/09) View from the back showing where the whole game-room area was removed, and the slab was cut back 15 feet. The new dining room will extend out from the wall, and the new chapter room will be beneath it, where the digging is.

(5/7/09) This will be a new wall that separates the living room from the new expanded dining room.
(5/7/09) Visiting lady guests will soon have nicely-appointed spacious restroom, which is being built on the front of the house, replacing the wall with the greek letters. A new ornate letter wall will extend off the front of the restroom.
(5/7/09) All of the ceiling drywall has been removed for installation of fire sprinklers, modern lighting, surround sound and other high-tech innovations. The fireplace, bricks, and Great Seal are all being preserved and restored.
