Athletics

Achievements

Beta actively participates in all fraternity sponsored intramural events. We also field teams in non-fraternity compeition including 4 on 4 flag football, summer and fall softball, 3 on 3 basketball and others.

Over the past several years we have been at the very top of fraternity athletics with championships in the past two years in:

  • Softball
  • Racquetball
  • Track
  • Bowling
  • Swimming

These championships have led to BACK TO BACK President's Cup championships in 2007 and 2008. The President's Cup is awarded to the top overall fraternity in athletics.

Additionally, Betas are very active in sports amongst the brotherhood. We hold semi-annual Pledge Class Olympics that are contested on our full court basketball court, the only one of its kind at any fraternity house.

Athletics play a large part in our day to day lives and our oversized front yard is host to many lawn games before dinner each night and on gamedays.
